Join Professor Bill Turkel, a Professor of History at Western University and a member of the College of New Scholars, Artists, and Scientists of the Royal Society of Canada (2018-25), for an insightful lecture on the role of artificial intelligence in historical research. Professor Turkel will discuss how understanding AI models is crucial for historians in the twenty-first century, and how we can complement these tools with the unique capabilities that only humans bring to the study of history.
